WHAT IS A WORKSHOP

A Stampin' Up! workshop is a creative event you host at your home or other venue, where you invite your friends to enjoy an exciting project demonstration. When you host a workshop, you'll see new project ideas, learn different techniques, make a project, and have fun with people you enjoy--all while earning free products based on your workshop's sales. 

As a hostess, you'll choose a date and focus for your workshop, then invite your friends and family into your home to stamp, create and have fun with you. Everyone who attends gets the opportunity to have a go or ‘make and take’ as we call it. As hostess, you decide what you’d like this to be, a card for a specific occasion? a home decor item? a scrapbook page?

There are two types of workshop that I currently offer, 

• Party
• Private Class

A Party is FREE to host, you can invite as many or as few people as you like. The event starts with a product demonstration where you get lots of tips and inspiration. This is then followed by your make and take - where everyone has the opportunity to have a go. After this,I will take orders from your guests for any products they wish to order from our range. You would earn hostess product credit from the amount spent at this stage.

A Private Class is a workshop where everyone pays in advance to create something spacific. Everyone gets a kit, including everything they need to complete the project plus instructions and the item is completed before you leave. Previous Classes have created Cards, Wreaths, Scrapbook Layouts. The class can be adjusted to fit any budget, and the cost of the kits counts towards your hostess benefits. Your guests still get to enjoy a product demonstration and the opportunity to order additional items. 

With any workshop, as Hostess, you get a FREE copy of our Annual Catalogue and any mini catalogues that are appropriate. You can collect extra orders before the event from friends/relatives/colleagues which will all contribute towards your benefits. You can also request a 'hostess code' which allows you to collect credit on internet orders - these products would then be delivered direct to the purchaser by UPS.
